On Jan. 25, worldwide Internet traffic slowed dramatically for hours after a fast-spreading computer worm clogged pipelines of the global network.
According to the characteristics of this attack, Internet Society of China and its Network and Information Security Committee adopt three emergency measures: inform Internet operators to filtrate worm virus from overseas; inform Internet Society of each province to inform relevant Internet operating organizations to take proper measures; put patches or fixes on the website of Internet Society of China (http://www.jkyscs6o.com) and the website of China National Emergency Response Team/Coordination Center (http://www.cert.org.cn) for netizens to install.
